Dreaming in the car …

This morning Overpelt was covered with a layer of ice. I couldn’t resist jumping in my car and driving into the fields of Holven. (more of my trip in this Flickr set)

The city center of Overpelt is nicely decorated with lots and lots of small lights. On top of that it was a really cold day today (tonight it was -5C), so the tree were covered with a thin layer of ice. It feels like Christmas… 🙂

I love the weather we have this week in Belgium: cold (around -3C), sometimes fog, sometimes clear. These pictures are taken in Hamont, near the “Boskerkhof”. Btw, these are not black and white photo’s, the world seems to go black and white these days… 🙂

This weekend I saw one of my youth idols performing live on stage for the very first time: Urbanus! The show was great! I only had a pocket cam (Panasonic FX01) with me, so the quality of this photo is not very exciting, but I think it shows the setting pretty good: a funny guy with his guitar in the middle of a couple of thousands spectators!
