I didn’t know, but the Dutch name of this little flower (vergeet-mij-nietje) is the in English (translated): forget me not. As you can see the flowers are really, really small.

Ok I promise, this is my last sunset photo for some time. I think the colors came out pretty nice in this one. Saturation was added to the green foreground during post processing. In occasions like this I’d love to have a real wide-angle lens (e.g. the Sigma 10-20mm).

Yeah, I know, sunsets are easy and for many people boring. But I like to watch the sun sink behind the clouds until it touches the ground. The wheat in the foreground nicely illustrates the evening summer.

The sunset yesterday wasn’t as spectacular as I hoped. But I managed to capture some reflections in a canal. (Taken in Lommel, Belgium)

Can you imagine a nicer view? A steel blue sky, white clouds, an umbrella to protect against the bright sun, a great way to pass a summer evening.

A busy bee in our garden. It’s not a real macro shot, but I’m amazed how well the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 HSM lens can pretend it’s a macro lens too.

Some time ago I had the opportunity to make photos during a couple’s wedding day. I don’t pretend to a pro wedding shooter at all, but I had a great (sometimes stressy) time that day. Congrats Goele and Jan!

Taken in Damme, Belgium (near Bruges). I guess most of the times there is a lot of wind in this spot. The trees are growing almost diagonal.

I tried a while to get the flags with the logo of Brugge (Bruges) blowing straight in the wind, but the wind didn’t cooperate very well that day. So this is the best shot that I could get.

Once again, the title says it all; some nice looking white daisy flowers on a soft green bed of grass, relaxing in the sun.

A blue sky, some white clouds, green trees, flowers in grass, … are nice ingredients for an easy photo.
