This evening I joined a trip to go out a try to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). A bus took us out of Reykjavik to a place where there was no light pollution and where the coulds left some open spots. During the waiting I took some long exposure shots of the clouds drifting over a mountain, in front of the moon. Eventually we did get the Northern Lights a couple of times (two time very clearly), but then I just used my eyes instead of the camera to observe this unbelievable spectacle. (Although I did manage to snap some less exciting shots of the Northern Lights itself)
